New Cat 313GC Buyer from Colombia Visits Our Hefei Yard

Release time: 2026-09-21

A Colombian equipment buyer who ordered two new Cat 313GC excavators from us in June came to our Hefei yard in person to inspect stock before his next order. He spent the day between the meeting room and the machine yard, opened engine compartments himself, and checked undercarriage wear on machines he had not bought yet. This is what that visit covered.

Two new Cat 313GC excavators bought in June, a yard visit before the next order

The order was placed in June 2026: two new Cat 313GC excavators, shipped to Colombia. The buyer had not been to China before that order, and had not seen our yard. He came to close that gap before committing to a second purchase.

These were new units. They are a separate order from the two used Cat 313GC excavators we shipped to Colombia earlier, covered in Two Used Caterpillar 313GC Excavators Shipped from China to Colombia. Same model and same destination market, different machines and different condition. We sell both, and which one fits depends on the hours the machine will work each year and on how much residual value the buyer wants to hold.

What the buyer checked on the yard

He did not ask for a tour. He asked for the machines to be opened. The sequence below is what he actually ran, in order, on machines picked off the row rather than prepared in advance.

  1. Engine compartment, opened and photographed. Side service doors open, aftertreatment canister, hose runs and hydraulic lines visible, photographed on his own phone rather than ours.
  2. Undercarriage, at eye level. Track shoes, track chain, idler and final drive housing. Undercarriage is the single largest deferred cost on a used tracked machine, and it is the one item a photo set never shows properly.
  3. Stock numbers against the row. Machines in our yard carry a numbered tag, so a unit discussed in the meeting room can be walked to and identified in the row.

Buyers who cannot travel run a version of this remotely. Our walkthrough of that process is in our remote inspection checklist, and the supplier side of the same question is covered in how to verify a used construction machinery supplier from China.

Cat 313 GC specifications

Buyers ask us for 313 GC numbers more often than for anything else about this model, so here they are from the manufacturer rather than from a listing site. These are Caterpillar’s published figures for the new 313 GC, which is the configuration this buyer ordered. A used 313 GC will differ by year, bucket and undercarriage spec, and for a used unit we quote the machine in front of us rather than the brochure.

Two things matter for a Colombian buyer in that table. At 13.8 t the 313 GC sits in the class that moves on a standard lowboy without a permit in most markets, and the C3.6 runs without diesel exhaust fluid, which removes a consumable that is awkward to source outside major cities.

What a first visit to our Hefei yard covers

We are at Yulong Agricultural Machinery Market, Cuozhen Town, Feidong County, Hefei, and any buyer is welcome to do what this one did. A first visit normally runs:

  • A shortlist built before arrival, so the day is spent on machines rather than on browsing
  • Open inspection: engine bay, undercarriage, boom and stick pins, cab and monitor, with no restriction on photographs
  • Start and function test on any unit under consideration
  • Loading, lashing and container or roll-on plan, quoted to the destination port
  • Export documents, which for Colombia means the commercial invoice, packing list, bill of lading and certificate of origin

Current stock is on our used excavator pages, and the wider range is under products. Ask for the machine by its stock number and we will send the plate, the meter and the walkaround video for that specific unit.

Shipping to Colombia

Our Colombian shipments go out through Shanghai. Sea time, port of discharge and inland haulage to the job site are quoted per order rather than from a table, because a unit going to a coastal site and a unit going inland are not the same freight.

If you are working through the same decision this buyer was, tell us the model, the tonnage class and the destination port and we will come back with the machines in stock that fit, their stock numbers and their meter readings.
